Interim Chat Room (because NING isn't working for us!)

Hi all!

Ning renovated the chat room on Friday.. please look below at the bottom bar where you can popup the chat room with the two buttons on the right (they have arrows). It is styled after Facebook chat.

Actually, there is still a lot of lag right now when using chat :(

Unfortunately, we don't have any say on whether we can bring the old chat back.. I've submitted a ticket with them on the problems it's caused. Hopefully, they'll fix it soon!

I think I remember someone saying an "official" chat room would be added to the getpeek.com site. Is there anything like that in the works? If not... perhaps the best way to go, is with one of the chatrooms being created by volunteer Peeksters.

Thank you for your feedback. We are aware of the issues you've mentioned and are working on correcting them soon. You can expect many improvements and fixes near the end of the month.

Well, sadly, I tried just now to test chat.. .and it wouldn't register my text in the main window. Maybe I need someone else in the room before it'll do anything. Will try and test it out soon.
